Shipping And Handling 

All shipping is calculated based on the volume and weight of the product and the country it is being delivered to. The cost of the item (for insurance) is also taken into consideration. For this reason we cannot list a definite price costing of the delivery charges. This is calculated and displayed for you upon checkout.

Delivery Schedule

All deliveries are shipped the same same day for orders placed before 2.00PM Monday to Friday - Please note we do not despatch any parcels on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays. All of our delivery services require a signature as proof of delivery in all cases regardless of cost! so please ensure that a person will be available to sign, you may wish to consider delivering to a work address etc, however this will require a CVV (3 numbers on back of card match). Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that goods are delivered within the stated time, no liability can be accepted for any delays. However, in the event of any delay you will be immediately contacted and offered another time for delivery or a full refund.

Some remote parts of Scotland, as well as Northern Island may take longer than the published delivery schedules

UK Saturday delivery and timed deliveries are also available on request - please call us for pricing and scheduling information.

Warranty

We offer a very fair and comprehensive warranty on all of the products we sell for a minimum period of one year. This does not include perishable and items that are subject to natural wear and tear. For example (and not limited to): Batteries, Nebuliser filters, disposable products, products with a best before date etc.

When something does go wrong within the warranty period - our knowledgeable staff can quickly diagnose the problem and then organise if necessary  (AT OUR EXPENSE IN THE UK) for the item to be returned to us using our courier collection or freepost address. Please take this into consideration when comparing prices!

Sometimes the manufacturer issues a longer warranty than one year - for example the Omron M5i has a 2 year warranty - we will honour the warranty ourselves for this extended period in the same method and at our cost above. - Again please take this into consideration when comparing prices!

 


 

Returns

A product purchased from Medisave may be returned for the following reasons:

  • If the product arrives faulty or damaged
  • If the product is incorrect due to a mispick or misinformation (this must be reported within 4 days of receiving the product/s)
  • The customer finds the product unsuitable or is dissatisfied with the product

Items returned to Medisave for the reasons outlined above should be done so within 30 days of receipt, and should also meet the following criteria:

  • Goods must be returned as sold, (i.e. in the original packaging)
  • Any free gifts or other additional bundled items delivered with the products must also be returned
  • You must obtain a Returns Authorisation Number and label the parcel with it

Failure to meet the above criteria may result in the return being rejected.

If you would like to return an item please contact the returns department at Medisave on 01305 470014 to obtain a returns authorisation number. Once you have a returns number you will need to clearly display it on the outside of the parcel and in a covering letter explaining the reasons for your return. Your parcel will then need to be returned to the following address:

Please note you must organise the return of the items at your expense unless the item is faulty or incorrect due to an error by Medisave in this instance your item will either be collected or postage will be refunded. This is at the discretion of Medisave and cannot be requested.

We regret we cannot accept returns of various types of non-faulty products:

  • Any orders that have been personalised (e.g. engraved stethoscopes, Sphygmomanometers, diagnostics, otoscopes etc)
  • Any specially manufactured products made to order
  • Any items of a sanitary nature (eg needles, syringes, continence products and nebulisers etc)

For some items purchased we may ask the manufacturer to contact you directly to establish the nature of the fault and then depending on the fault we will either organise a repair or replacement or in some instances ask you to liaise with the manufacturer directly.

 In some circumstances when products are past their warranty or repairs are outside the warranty terms a charge may occur.

When an item becomes faulty more than 30 days after purchase please call the Medisave Returns Department for advice.

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
